The latest Android 7.0 Nougat has been expected on many mobile devices already. In fact, the Internet has been attacked by crawling mobile phone users seeking news about what has been happening with their expected updates. Confused and exhausted, they seek justice regarding this matter. This also holds true for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and S7 owners.

Rumors of the Nougat Update

Perhaps only Nexus devices have been given the green light to receive the new update. As the final build of the Android Nougat was released one month ago, there hasn’t been any update on Samsung devices. While the TouchWiz version of Samsung has been updated to Grace UX, the Android Nougat update will go with it once it hits the S7 and Note 7.

Updates to Come Soon

According to GSM Arena, the listings of potential updates for Android Nougat will include the Galaxy S7 and the Note 7. However, it didn’t reveal much in terms of expected release date. Although certain tests were reportedly conducted, which means that there is a great possibility that the Android Nougat will be released on these devices soon.

Expression of Promise

Samsung mobile communications division’s president has expressed the importance of offering updated information with the new operating system. Nevertheless, the president said that it be more crucial to create a stable and seamless platform for Samsung users. So, this is the reason they have not accepted any OS updates so far. The president added that they are planning to do beta testing first before they consider any updates for their mobile devices.

Aside from that, they are still recovering from the damage that they have incurred with the random combustion of the Galaxy Note 7 model. Hence, this has added to the dilemma that they are facing right now. Anyway, the good news is that they have provided a sign that the Android Nougat update is still going to push through once the obstacles they are facing will be eliminated.
