The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were launched less than a month ago and the upcoming iPhone 8 is already the talk of the town. The upcoming device will mark Apple’s 10 year anniversary and it’s believed to be the one that will redefine what smartphones are supposed to be.

Some tech analysts believe that the changes that we’ve seen in the iPhone 7’s design were very small and that they could have been greater given the current available technology. They also believe that Apple held back on making drastic changes to this year’s model in favor of implementing those changes into next year’s iPhone 8.

It is believed that the removal of the 3.5 mm audio jack, the inclusion of a pressure sensitive home button and the other little changes made to the 7th iPhone generation laid the ground for the innovative design of the upcoming generation.

The iPhone 8 is expected to shift from the all-metal design to an all-glass one and to come with curved glass on both the front and the back. That glass will presumably be 2.5D one that should come with a steel chassis.

Another feature that is expected to be sported by the upcoming device is an unblemished and glossy appearance, as buyers were especially impressed by the jet black variant of the iPhone 7. The bezel will probably be removed and the home button will be a virtual one in an edge to edge display scenario.

Some tech publications have even made a simulation of how the upcoming iPhone 8 might look like and it’s definitely something different from we have seen so far.

However, while the iPhone 8 sounds like a far better device in theory, it’s still a long way from happening and we should definitely focus on what the iPhone 7 and 7 Pro have to offer for now.
