The Huawei Honor 6x will supposedly be launched this October and there are many people that would like to get their hands on it.
The fact is that the previous generation, the Huawei Honor 5X, that was launched a year ago sold more than 8 million devices in the first nine months so it looks like it’s one of the most popular mid-range devices out there. The upcoming Honor 6X device was certified two weeks ago by China’s TENAA agency and it appears to come with interesting specs.
To begin with, the device will sport a 5.5 inch Full-HD IPS screen with a 1920 x 1080 px in resolution. It is also believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC chipset and to come with 3 GB or RAM plus 32 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded with the help of a microSD card.
The Huawei Honor 6X is also believed to come with Android Marshmallow straight out of the box and to also have a second OS developed by Huawei – the U.I.
Some of the specs could be seen on the promotional pics for the device and it certainly has a dual primary camera that is positioned on the rear side. However, it’s anybody’s guess how many megapixels the camera has. The pictures also show that it will have a fingerprint scanner for extra security measures.
It’s also believed to come with the standard connectivity features such as WiFi, BlueTooth, GPS, 4G LTE.
Several reports have stated that the launch date for the device is scheduled for the 18th of October in China so it might not be that long until those who are interested in it the device will get it.
Unfortunately, there are no rumors about the price for the upcoming device, but as the launch date approaches, some estimated prices will surface.
