A leaked slide has given people a clear idea of when certain Sony Xperia models will get Android Nougat.

The slide, which was spotted by tech site Xperia Blog, reportedly came from a press conference hosted by Sony Slovakia. According to it, the recently released Xperia XZ and the 4K-display Sony Xperia X Performance will be the first models to receive the Nougat firmware update in October. The Xperia X and Xperia X Compact will get Nougat next in November, followed by the Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, and Xperia Z5 series in December.

Aside from the schedule noted above, the slide mentioned that the Xperia XA and XA Ultra models will have to wait until 2017 to get the update. Older models, such as the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra and the Xperia M4 Aqua, were not mentioned on the slide, and Xperia Blog suspects that they would not receive the Nougat update.

It’s important to note that this was a leaked image and has not been confirmed by Sony, which means we should take this with a grain of salt. Still, if this turns out to be true, it will make a great Christmas gift for those who own the models that would get Nougat before the end of the year. Those who own older models should wait for Sony’s announcement to see if their phones can still get Android Nougat.

If you own a Sony Xperia X Performance and can’t wait for Android Nougat to roll out, you can sign up for the Xperia Beta Program. Simply download the Xperia Beta Program app from the Google Play Store and follow the onscreen instructions to install the app and become a beta tester. Take note, though, that the program is available only to those who live in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
