The Samsung Galaxy S7 has just come out and tech bloggers are already talking about the next Samsung Galaxy S8 and some of them are even posting leaked info that offers more than enough details related to the device’s specs and price. The latest leak about the upcoming device reveal a 30 MP camera and a built-in projector.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is believed to come with a 5.2 inch display with 2160 x 4096 px. It is presumed that it will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 830 processor and that it will boast 6 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of native storage space that may be expanded via a microSD card. In terms of camera, the device is now believed to have a huge 30 MP rear-side camera and a smaller 9 MP front-side one. The bigger camera will also have optical image stabilization capabilities.
The device is also said to come with a huge 4,200 mAh battery and to feature fast charging as well as wireless charging. For security purposes, it will also sport a retina and fingerprint reader.
It may also come with a mini projector according to the aforementioned leak but, while the other specs seem like plausible possibilities, this particular feature seems very unlikely.
The detail related to the 30 MP camera again seems like something that might not happen, especially since initial rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 mentioned a dual-lens 12 MP or 13 MP main camera.
Other rumors state that the device will come in Black, Gold, White and Blue and that it will be launched sometime in April 2017. It may even be announced as soon as February 2017.
Lastly, the device is presumed to be priced at $850 ($100 more than the Galaxy S7) based on the rumored specs.
