The Lenovo K5 Note has been released back in January 2016, while the HTC Desire 10 Pro is expected to arrive sometime next month. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide if you want to purchase the Lenovo K5 Note, which costs $200, or wait for the arrival of the HTC Desire 10 Pro, which will be cheaper than the HTC 10 ($700).

Designs

The Lenovo K5 Note measures 152×75.7×8.5mm and weights 165 grams. The device has a metal body with curved edges and two slim antenna bars. The line from the top runs through the middle of the rear camera. Between the camera and the fingerprint scanner is located the Dual-LED flash. On the other hand, the HTC Desire 10 Pro is slimmer as it measures 156.5x76x7.9mm and weights 165 grams. The device has a matte plastic back with prominent gold accents (the circle around the huge camera module, the antenna lines and the edges), the power key is textured and the port and speaker have unusual placements.



Displays

Both devices come with an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Lenovo K5 Note features a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.0GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, a Mali-T860MP2 graphics card and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, a Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The Lenovo K5 Note has been released with an internal storage of 32GB, but you can expand it up to 256GB using a microSD card. The HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with an internal storage of 64GB, which you can expand up to 256GB using a microSD card.

Cameras

The Lenovo K5 Note sports a primary camera of 13MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 8MP. The HTC Desire 10 Pro has a better primary camera of 20MP that features dual-LED flash, laser autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto-HDR and a secondary camera of 13MP.

Batteries

The Lenovo K5 Note is powered by a non-removable battery of 3500 mAh which is better than the non-removable battery of only 3000 mAh that the HTC Desire 10 Pro has.
