Samsung has released its Galaxy A7 2016 and Galaxy A9 2016 devices in December 2015 and January 2016, respectively. They’re mid-range smartphones with a similar design, and today we will compare their specs, to see which one is the best buy.
The Galaxy A7 2016 measures 151.5×74.1×7.3mm and weights 172 grams. On the other hand, the Galaxy A9 2016 is slightly thicker and heavier as it measures 161.7×80.9×7.4mm and weights 200 grams. Both devices have a flat glass back that’s available in colors such as Pearl White, Midnight Black, Champagne Gold and Pink and a metal frame for a better protection.
The Galaxy A7 2016 has a super AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Galaxy A9 2016 has a bigger super AMOLED display of 6-inch with the same resolution, but which gives a pixel density of 367ppi. The Galaxy A7 2016 has been released with an internal storage of 16GB, while the Galaxy A9 2016 comes with an internal storage of 32GB. Both devices come with a microSD card slot which supports memory cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.
The Galaxy A7 2016 sports a primary camera of 13MP that features OIS, LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama, face detection, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP.
