Today we will talk about the Lumia 640 LTE and Lumia 650, two low-end smartphones that have been released by Microsoft back in April 2015 and February 2016, respectively, and which run on Windows 10 Mobile. Both devices can be found on Amazon, where they cost $80 and $235 and even if their specs are not the greatest, they’re a good alternative to Microsoft’s flaghips, because you’ll be able to run the same universal applications that are compatible with desktops.

The Lumia 640 LTE measures 141.3×72.2×8.8mm and weights 145 grams. Its back is removable and made of plastic, with available color options such as Glossy cyan, Orange, White and Matte black and it’s curved on the edges. On the other hand, the Lumia 650 is slimmer and lighter as it measures 142×70.9×6.9mm and weights 122 grams. Its plastic shell has a matte effect and comes in Black or White, while the sides are protected with a metal frame.

Both devices come with an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 294 ppi which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
