A lot of iOS device users got excited about the news that the new MacBook Pro will be launched this year. It has been a long time since the last MacBook Pro was released to the public, making this update a much anticipated release for 2016.

Rumors About the New MacBook Pro

The upcoming Apple event to happen anytime soon has justified this rumor because it has been a year since the previous version was introduced. Sources say that it will come along the iPhone 7 release to happen in September.

Currently, the MacBook Pro has a couple of sizes, including the 13 and 15-inch models that was last updated March of last year. The expected announcement for the new Macs that could have been made on March 2016 has never happened. The same thing happened at the WWDC on June 13.

Release Date for the New MacBook Pro

An upcoming event will be on September 7, so Apple fans are beginning to become anxious. However, this might not be the right time yet as the company is expected to announce about the new MacBook in October. This should come together with the upcoming iPad.

Before the keynote message at the WWDC 2016, fans were confident that the new MacBook Pro was going to be announced. However, they were disappointed after two consecutive keynotes without mentioning the said product.

Despite all the frustrations, Apple fans are still optimistic about the upcoming release of the MacBook Pro by the fourth quarter of this year. This might provide the release date which will be held on a single event or a silent update.

MacBook Pro 2016 New Features and Specs

With the expected MacBook Pro to arrive any time soon, it would be fair to look at the new features to look forward to. This might come just like the 12-inch MacBook in 2015, with lots of new features and entirely revamped design. Otherwise, it can be just like what happened to the 2016 MacBook Air.

Well, here are a few of the expected features that the new MacBook Pro should have.

Headphone Jacks Might Be Removed

One of the revolutionary enhancement is the removal of the headphone jack. This expected update has been rumored for months, so if this will come to reality, this is not the only Apple product that will lose such a feature.

The New OLED Touchbar

A redesign has been expected for the MacBook Pro 2016, according to a trusted analyst. This will include a lighter and thinner structure, USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, and the Touch ID. So, aside from the faster processors and new graphic cards that should empower the MacBook Pro, analysts expects to include an OLED touchbar display on top of the keyboard.

Power Button with Touch ID Support

According to rumors, the new MacBook Pro 2016 should have new support for Touch ID. However, this might not be a feature that Apple will develop but this should be a great addition to such a famous device.
