The LG G5 has been released back in April 2016, while the Lenovo K6 is expected to arrive this month. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide if you want to purchase the G5 with a modular design, or you will prefer the Lenovo K6, which is a mid-range smartphone with a simple metallic design.
Displays and Designs
The LG G5 has an IPS LCD display of 5.3-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 554 ppi. On the other hand, the Lenovo K6 has a smaller IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi. The G5 has a dual camera setup which slightly protrudes and a slide-out battery design, while the Lenovo K6 has a simple full metal body with a fingerprint scanner located below the rear camera.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG G5 features a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo processor clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo processor clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. The Lenovo K6 has a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 505 graphics card and 2GB of RAM.
The LG G5 has been released with an internal storage of 32GB which you can expand up to 256GB using a microSD card. The Lenovo K6 comes in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, which are expandable up to the same capacity.
The LG G5 sports a dual-primary camera of 16MP and 8MP that features LED flash, OIS, laser autofocus, geo-tagging, HDR, face detection, panorama and a secondary camera of 8MP. The Lenovo K6 has a primary camera of 13MP that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, panorama, touch focus, face detection, HDR and a secondary camera of 8MP.
The LG G5 is powered by a removable battery of 2800 mAh which is weaker than the non-removable battery of 3000 mAh that the Lenovo K6 comes with.
