Smartwatches are becoming more and more popular as time goes by and some of them have so many interesting features that they almost make you wonder if you still need a smartphone.

If you don’t own a smartwatch yet here is a comparison between two very good smartwatches on the market – Samsung Gear S3 and Asus ZenWatch 3 – that will help you decide what to buy.

When it comes to color variants, we have the ZenWatch 3 in silver, rose gold and gunmetal. There is also a lot or room for customization when it comes to the strap. Buyers can choose between rubber and leather when it comes to ZenWatch 3 straps.

The Samsung Gear S3 comes in two forms, frontier and classic and has many added features when compared to the previous models, which makes it a bit heavier than the ZenWatch 3.

The ZenWatch 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset and a small 340 mAh battery. It also features 512 MB of RAM plus 4 GB of native storage space.

The device’s screen comes with 400 x 400 px in resolution and it also comes with Asus’ HyperCharge tech that enables it to charge by 60% in 15 minutes.

The Samsung Gear 3 is powered by a dual-core Exynos 7270 processor and a bigger 380 mAh battery. It also comes with 4 GB of native storage space and a speaker/microphone for making calls. The screen is a Super AMOLED one with 360 x 360 px in resolution that is protected by Gorilla Glass.

The device is also water and dust resistant and comes with GPS, LTE, a barometer and an altimeter.

While there are rumors about the Asus ZenWatch 3 being priced at 229 euros, there are no rumors about the upcoming Samsung Gear S3.
