Sony has released the Xperia X back in May 2016, while the Xperia XZ has just been announced yesterday. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide if you want to purchase the Sony Xperia X device or wait for the Sony Xperia XZ to hit the stores.
The Xperia X measures 142.7×69.4×7.9mm and weights 153 grams. It has a metal body and a 2.5D glass rounded bevel screen that give it a premium look and it has a circular rear camera that sits in the upper left corner. On the other hand, the Xperia XZ is slightly thicker and heavier as it measures 146x72x8.1mm and weights 161 grams. This model comes with a “unified design”, as Sony returned to the glass and metal combination, but these materials blend seamlessly together, because the sides are rounded and sloping, and they extend from the flat-faced front to the flat rear panel.
The Xperia X has been released with an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi. The Xperia XZ has a larger IPS LCD display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 424 ppi.
