Pokémon Go is a one of the most popular mobile games out there. Today we will talk about a new feature that will be released to this game sometime in the near future.

Some Pokémon Go players have discovered some features in the game’s code. One of those features seems to be a buddy system that will allow you to walk around with a Pokémon by your side.

Unfortunately, there is are no official news regarding this feature, Pokémon Go Hub website has ran through the data and provided us some information about this upcoming feature.

According to Pokémon Go Hub, the buddy system will use the same distance calculation that is being used for Pokémon eggs. It is good to know that this calculation is not that accurate right now, because anyone who has attempted to hatch a 10km egg knows that they had to walk more than 10km.

The upcoming Pokémon Go Buddy System will reward players with candy, but there will be limited candies that a player can get each day. It’s not sure what that limit will be or how many candies a player will receive. However, it will most likely be related to how far they will walk with their buddies.

According to the code, you will be able to talk with one buddy at a time, but depending on the Pokémon you choose, it will appear differently on the application. In other words, there can be large Pokémon, medium Pokémon, flying Pokémon or even a Pokémon that can stand on your shoulder.

Unfortunately, it’s not sure yet when the Pokémon Go Buddy System will be released, but since the code is already inside the game, there are high chances that it will be released sometime next week.
