If you are the one who doesn’t get enough time to use Twitter during the day time because of your hectic schedule and so you tend to use it at night, then this post is just for you. Read on to find out why!
Twitter has just recently launched a new feature for iOS known as the “Night Mode.” When enabled, this amazing new feature changes the theme of the Twitter app to a dark color, making it convenient to use the app at night or in a dark surrounding where the light is dim or where there’s no light. Hence, if you don’t want your eyes to get strained out any more while using Twitter at night, then you should go for enabling this exciting new feature of Night Mode to have a good night’s sleep.
The Night Mode features appears to have been stimulated by a jailbreak tweak known as “Eclipse” which is capable of bringing Night Mode across the whole iOS platform. While Apple users are waiting for the company to turn this into a non-jailbreak feature, they are pleased to see that Twitter has come up with the initiative for rolling out the night mode feature to their app.
The feature of “Night Mode” was initially released for Android back in July this year. Earlier, iOS launched a beta version of the useful feature in which a number of iOS users participated and it went well though; this is what led the platform to come up with the final version of the feature recently.
So, if you are prone to use Twitter mostly during the night then you ought to consider activating the Night Mode feature for preventing your eyes from getting burnt or strained by the bright effects of the app. Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide for how to do so. But before you do, make sure to update your Twitter on your iOS.
Steps for Turning on Night Mode in Twitter for iOS:
Step#1 – Install the latest version of the Twitter app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step#2 – Open Twitter on your iPhone or iPad.
Step#3 – In the bottom right corner of the app, tap on the tab labeled “Me.”
Step#4 – Next, tap on the gear-like icon for “Settings” that is located just next to your profile picture in Twitter.
Step#5 – After that, you will be prompted with a few options. Select “Turn on Night Mode.”
As soon as you’re done with Step#5, the whole screen along with the entire Twitter interface will turn dark, thus making it easy to use the app at night without hurting your eyes. For disabling this feature, simply tap again on the gear icon and select “Turn off Night Mode.”
Remember, the Night Mode feature will only be available only after your upgrade your Twitter to the latest version. Even after upgrading, you don’t see the Night Mode feature in your Twitter, we recommend you to close the app from the App Switcher and then open it again. Or, you can even change your App Store country or region to USA to get it. This will hopefully resolve the issue for you.
