4J Studios has just announced on its Twitter account the release of Minecraft update 1.33, which is now available on PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita. This patch comes a month after the last one, which brought many fixes and additions. This time, the change log is shorter and we’ll talk about what was changed below.
According to the change log, 4J Studios has added Tumble Mini Game, Battle Map Pack 3 (Castle, Invasion & Shipyard), six new trophies for the Battle mini game, a “vote to kick” system for mini games – which allows three gamers to kick the fourth one from a public game. Also, the previous Birthday and Minecon skin packs have been re-enabled for players who had them, and the changes that have been made to Battle Mini Game are related to chest refilling logic, making things harder for players camping beside chests, and it was necessary to make some balancing changes to items spawning in chests. Also, there were some map issues in Cavern, Siege, Ruin, Lair and Atlantis arenas that have been fixed.
Minecraft is also played on Windows 10 PC and this version will be getting a new update that will go live this fall. The game will receive Ocean Monuments, which are rare locations where will be found the treasure chamber and which include the Elder Guardian boss battle. The update will also bring the Wither boss, which can be summoned and if it will be defeated, players will collect the highly-valuable Nether Stars that can be used to craft beacons. They will help players to get home and provide stat buffs for friends. The Windows 10 version will receive 20 slash commands and they will simplify trading and will make things easier with spawning creatures. More commands are expected to be added in the future.
