Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) are two smartphones that have been released in July and April 2016, respectively. Today we will compare them and you will decide which one is worth your money.

Designs

The Galaxy J2 (2016) measures 142.4×71.1x8mm and weights 138 grams. It has a plastic body and below the camera, there‚Äôs a series of horizontal lines that extend to the frame. Also, Samsung has placed an illuminated ring (Smart Glow LED notification system) around the camera sensor which lights up whenever you receive a notification. On the hand, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is slightly thicker and heavier as it measures 145.8×72.3×8.1mm and weights 159 grams. It has a plastic back with a brushed metal finish, which is curved on the edges, and a metal frame.



Displays

The Galaxy J2 (2016) has a super AMOLED display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 294 ppi. The Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 282 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Galaxy J2 (2016) features a Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, a Mali-400MP2 graphics card and 1.5GB of RAM. The Galaxy J5 (2016) has a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 306 graphics card and 2GB of RAM.

Storages

The Galaxy J2 (2016) has been released with an internal storage of 8GB, but it can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a bigger internal storage of 16GB, which it can expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Galaxy J2 (2016) sports a primary camera of 8MP that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP.
