The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will hit the stores in September, while the Huawei G9 Plus is expected to be released by the end of this month. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them is better for you.

Designs

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 measures 153.5×73.9×7.9mm and weights 169 grams. Likewise the Galaxy S7, it has a glass back and a metal frame, as well as a fingerprint scanner hidden inside the home button. However, the S pen is specific to the Note line and Samsung has improved its functionality. On the other hand, the Huawei G9 Plus is slimmer and lighter as it measures 151.8×75.7×7.3mm and weights 160 grams. Its body is made of metal, the back is slightly curved on the edges and there‚Äôs a square fingerprint scanner below the rear camera.



Displays

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 518 ppi. The Huawei G9 Plus has a smaller IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features a Exynos 8890 Octa chipset, a quad-core Mongoose CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, a Mali-T880 MP12 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. The Huawei G9 Plus comes with a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, an Adreno 506 graphics card and 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has an internal storage of 64GB, while the Huawei G9 Plus will be released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB. Both devices feature a microSD card slot that supports memory cards up to 256GB for storage expansion.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports a primary camera of 12MP that features LED flash, OIS, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, auto HDR, face detection, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Huawei G9 Plus has a better primary camera of 16MP that features OIS, dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, panorama, HDR, face detection, touch focus and a secondary camera of 8MP.

Batteries

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a non-removable battery of 3500 mAh, while the Huawei G9 Plus has a less-powerful one of 3340 mAh which is also non-removable.
