The Clash of Clans August update has been revealed a few days ago and it seems that it will come with a Healer nerf that will mess up many attack strategies. Supercell had an intervention through a forum post, where it described why it made this decision and how the players can work around it.



Supercell said that when a skilled attacker is using this strategy, the raid is 100% won, as the group of healers stay behind the Archer Queen and groups of Bowlers. This means that healers have become too safe and they had to be nerfed in a way or another. Healers will not trigger air traps meaning that they will be in rage of mine hazards from above.

In addition, there are also three more fixes that come with this update. The cannon damage has been increased for level 11 through 14 in order to make mass-attacks against mid-sized troops more balanced. The miners now move a bit slower, but the movement will act as a buff when they go underground. Lastly, the Eagle Artillery will activate a bit later than usual in order to give Town Hall 11 players more early-battle flexibility before this defensive structures kick in.

Keep in mind that the Clash of Clans August 2016 update is a small one, but Supercell said that it is currently working on the next major update that will most likely be released sometime in September 2016.

We remind you that the Clash of Clans September 2016 update will be focused more on lower Town Hall levels structures, which means that the developing company is now trying to lure more new players into the game.
