The Huawei G9 Plus is expected to be released this month, while the Samsung Galaxy C7 has been released in June 2016. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.
The Huawei G9 Plus measures 151.8×75.7×7.3mm and weights 160 grams. The device has a simple design, featuring a metal back that’s curved on the sides, it has two slim lines at the top and bottom and a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy C7 is slimmer and heavier as it measures 156.6×77.2×6.8mm and weights 169 grams. Its body is also made of aluminum, but the horizontal lines are wider and the fingerprint scanner is placed inside the home button.
The Huawei G9 Plus comes with an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi. The Samsung Galaxy C7 has a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 386 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
Both devices feature a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz and an Adreno 506 graphics. However, when it comes to memory, the Huawei G9 Plus comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, while the Samsung Galaxy C7 comes with one variant of 4GB.
Both devices come in two internal memory variants of 32GB and 64GB, but you can expand the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Huawei G9 Plus and Samsung Galaxy C7 sport a primary camera of 16MP that features dual-LED flash, OIS, autofocus, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, touch focus and a secondary camera of 8MP.
The Huawei G9 Plus is powered by a non-removable battery of 3340 mAh, while the Samsung Galaxy C7 has a slightly weaker one of 3300 mAh which is also non-removable.
