Downloading the Google Play Store for your Android device can be done in a couple of ways. You can either do this with your Android device or via a personal computer. Here are some easy steps that you can follow.

Using an Android Device

  • Unknown Sources

First thing you need to do is to enable the Unknown Sources tab. You can do this by going to the Settings tab and go to Security option. Browse through the security options and check the box beside the Unknown Sources tab. Take note that enabling the Unknown Sources tab will allow applications outside of the Play Store to be installed on your device. When you are done, don’t forget to disable this option by unchecking it.

  • Downloading the APK File

Tap on the browser of your mobile device then go to a website that shares an APK mirror to be able to download the APK of the latest version of Google Play Store.

  • Installing the APK File

When you do this, you will be prompted with a warning message regarding the possible harm that this file could inflict on your device. Simply ignore this message by tapping OK.

You can immediately open the APK file you have downloaded by tapping the notifications menu. You may be required to read permissions then you will be on your way to installing the app by tapping the Install option.

Using a Computer

If your device doesn’t have Wi-Fi connection or data plan enabled, you can use this method.

  • Unknown Sources

Enable the Unknown sources from your device.

  • Downloading the App

Select a browser where you can look for APK sources for your Play Store.

  • Installing the App

Connect the device to your PC using a USB cable then copy the APK over your Android gadget. After this, you can launch it and accept the permissions then you can tap the Install option.
