Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been incredibly successful, but this hasn’t stopped COD fans from wondering about the next installment of the game. The main question that many people are asking is this: when is the release date of Black Ops 4?
But perhaps the more important question is, “Will there be a Black Ops 4?” As we’ve previously mentioned, there have been some clues that developer Treyarch Studios and publisher Activision are working on the next installment in the game franchise. A leaked Activision email mentioned “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Retribution”, and Treyarch even confirmed on Twitter that they’re looking into the potential of a new Call of Duty: Black Ops game. However, it’s important to note that the two companies have not officially confirmed the presence of Black Ops 4, so it’s too early to say if the game would see the light of day.
Despite this, there are rumors going around that the next installment of the COD franchise will be released on 2018. Again, this has not been confirmed by Activision and Treyarch, so we have to take this with a grain of salt — although it can’t hurt to imagine what the game would be like!
While we’re waiting for Black Ops 4, fans can console themselves by downloading the new COD Black Ops 3 update, which has just been released. The new update fixes Zombie issues and multiplayer problems while adding four new Special Contracts to the Black Market. They can also look forward to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which will be released on November 4, 2016. The game will have a special Zombies mode called “Zombies in Spaceland”, which features an 80s-inspired amusement park along with 80s-archetype characters like the jock, the nerd, the rapper, and the valley girl. The Zombies mode will also feature the voices of well-known actors David Hasselhoff and Paul Reubens.
