Sharing is caring!

WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile messaging applications out there and it’s used daily by over 1 billion people who keep in touch with their friends and families all over the world. Since this application is so loved, its developers need to constantly update it in order to fix all the issues that are found by them or are reported by users, but they also bring some new features in order to keep up the pace with other popular mobile messaging applications.

WhatsApp version 2.16.9 has just been released for iPhone and it comes with the Voicemail feature. This new feature will allow WhatsApp users who own an iPhone to leave a Voicemail when someone doesn’t answer or reject their calls on WhatsApp. Along with the new feature, the WhatsApp 2.16.9 also comes with usual bug fixes and stability improvements.

There are also rumors which say that the Video Calling feature is also coming to WhatsApp application for iPhone. Unfortunately, the Video Calling feature has not been confirmed yet by the developers of WhatsApp so we should take it with a bit of salt.

WhatsApp 2.16.9: How To Install On Your iPhone

First of all, you will need to uninstall the current WhatsApp application from your iPhone. After that, you will have to download the WhatsApp 2.16.9 .IPA file from the internet, but make sure that you download it from a safe website, as there are many websites that are inserting malware in these IPA files in order to trick users.

Once you’ve downloaded the WhatsApp 2.16.9 .IPA file to your iPhone, head to the location where you’ve saved it and tap on it to start the installation process. When the installation is complete, use your mobile phone number to log into your WhatsApp account.

HINT: Keep in mind that WhatsApp 2.16.9 is currently in BETA phase and it might come with some issues and bugs. In case you find any of them, we suggest you to report them to the developers so that they can fix them.
