It’s official, MacBook Pro 2016 from Apple is going to be released somewhere near the end of this year. It’s going to be a really state of the art, with all the new features introduced and a consistent change in design. In preparation for this big event, the previous model just got a $300 discount. This shows that retailers are keen on emptying their stocks in order to make some room for the next gen notebook.
On Ebay you can see that the MacBook Pro in its 13.3 inches version costs $799.99, cut from $1,099. The discount is really welcomed, especially if you think about the fact that we are talking about a notebook running an Intel Core i5 and 4 GB RAM. If you buy it, you will also get 1 year warranty from Apple.
Recently we got the news that the future MacBook is not going to be released along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices that are planned to be released this September. However, there is another possibility, that the company might hold the release of the notebook after the launch of the two phones. Also, they can even just list the upcoming model on the website, which would mean that there aren’t big changes to the notebook.
Rumors had it that it will be a lighter and slimmer version of the previous model. Moreover, it will have an OLED strip that is said to replace normal function keys. Similar to the iPhone and iPad features, the upcoming MacBook is supposed to include a fingerprint scanner placed on the power button. This addition might even mean that the notebooks will be able to support Apple Pay, for instance. Apple will also enlarge the trackpad for a better usability than the previous MacBook had.
