WhatsApp users want to stay up-to-date on the latest versions developers release, as they tend to come with an array of new features. Of course, to do this, people need to become a beta tester to ensure they get the latest version first.

It’s not hard to become a beta tester, but it’s important to understand that beta versions tend to involve problems and bugs. For people who are okay with this, they need to hit the “Become a Tester” button after they visit WhatsApp beta tester – Google Play. This will open another window that says, “You are now a tester.”

They’ll also be given to two options – attain the testing version or leave the testing program. People who already have WhatsApp on their computer, cell phone or tablet will automatically attain the test version. If not, they’ll need to download the app and install it.

It may be hours before users attain the latest beta version on their device.

People who want to leave WhatsApp testing program just need to hit the “Leave the Program” button. If a stable version has been released, they’ll need to uninstall the beta version and reinstall the program using the public one.

If there is a downloadable APK file, there’s no reason to become a beta test to use it. Be mindful when downloading this file since files could be infected with malware. Once the APK file has been located, it’s time to install it. These APK files are compatible with just Android devices.
