After rooting your Android smartphone, you will have to download and install WA Tweaks. This application allows you to activate hidden features that are available on your WhatsApp BETA application. So, just open the WA Tweaks application and you will see a list of features that you can activate on your WhatsApp BETA version.
However, keep in mind that two hidden features are not working and these two are Photo Editor and Video Call, but you will be able to activate the rest of five features without any problems.
How To Activate Hidden Features On WhatsApp BETA Without WA Tweaks
There is another way to activate the hidden features on your WhatsApp BETA version without the help of WA Tweaks. For this, you will need to do the followings:
• Close the WhatsApp BETA application
• Edit the com.whatsapp_preferences.xml file found in /data/data/com.whatsapp
• Inside the tags you will need to enter the following code:

HINT: Keep in mind that the Photo Edition and Video Calling feature will still not function even if you add those lines in the .xml file.
