The upcoming Motorola Moto Z has been spotted recently on Amazon UK as a SIM free device available for pre-order.
The Motorola Moto Z is presumed to be released along with the Moto Z Force sometime in September, both in the UK and in China. There is no official statement in this sense from Motorola, but the pre-order entry on Amazon UK seems to confirm an even earlier release of the device.
However, it seems that Amazon UK is not the only site that has the handset available for pre-order, there’s also clove.co.uk and it’s very likely that it will become available on many others.
The device is priced at 610.19 GBP on Amazon UK and in the entry heading it says that it’s a SIM free smartphone that comes in either a White color variant or a Gold color variant. On clove.co.uk, the Moto Z is priced at 495 GBP and it appears to be the same SIM free device.
Some have suggested that the difference between the Amazon version and the Clove one is that the former is a Moto Z with 64 GB of native storage space whereas the latter is the one with 32 GB of native storage space.
Some tech bloggers believe that the entry is a mistake because it doesn’t feature any pictures or that it could be something that might end up being sold in bundle with the MotoMods.
Motorola Moto Z specs according to the Amazon UK entry
The Motorola Moto Z will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with a multi core 1.8 GHz CPU. It will also sport two cameras, a 13 MP rear one with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS and laser autofocus. As for the battery, the Moto Z features TurboPower Charging which means that it will work for 8 hours after only 15 min of charging. It also says that the Moto Z is the thinnest premium smartphone with a fingerprint sensor in the world.
So there you have it. If you want to make sure that you will get the Moto Z as soon as it comes out, sign up for the pre-order!
