As everybody knows by now, the upcoming Google Nexus that will showcase the final build version for Android Nougat will come in two versions: a bigger one named Marlin and a smaller one codenamed Sailfish.

Since there are no official statements about the devices from Google so far, here is an overview of the rumored specs for the two devices.

Google Nexus Marlin rumored specs

The Nexus Marlin is believed to sport a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen with 2560 x 1440 px in resolution. Supposedly, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and it wil feature 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage space. In terms of camera, it is believed to feature two: a 12 MP rear one and an 8 MP front one.

The Google Marlin is also believed to sport a rear side fingerprint reader for improved security.

Google Nexus Sailfish rumored specs

The Nexus Sailfish is believed to be the smaller version of the Nexus 2016 series and it is believed to sport a 5 inch screen and that it is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. Much like the aforementioned Marlin, this handset will also feature 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage space.

Supposedly, both versions of the phone will sport an Android Nougat Manufacturer Release 1 that will feature Google assistant and Android Pay. However, unlike the Google Sailfish, the Marlin will also have the Night Light mode which will enable its users to adjust light when using the phone at night.

At the moment there are no rumors regarding the batteries of the two devices or their prices, but the Android Nougat OS is coming very soon and we won’t have to wait for too long to find out.
