WhatsApp is the application of the moment, being used by over 1 billion people across the world. Today we will talk about the latest WhatsApp BETA version that has been released for Android smartphones and the new feature that it introduced.

The latest WhatsApp version is 2.16.230 and it was just released for Android smartphones. The new version of the application comes with a new feature called “Multiple Forwarding” that allows you to share and forward a message to multiple contacts, at once. In addition, the new WhatsApp version comes with new flags of Wales and Scotland.

The WhatsApp 2.16.230 APK (installation) file has been increased by 55KB, it has over 430 modified files, most of them being related to some functions of the application. The new APK file comes with 3 new icons, two of them being the flags of Wales and Scotland (as we’ve mentioned above) along with a small icon for backups.

As always, the new WhatsApp version also comes with bug fixes and application’s improvements. However, keep in mind that it is currently in BETA phase, which means that there are high chances that you will find some new bugs or issues that we suggest you to report to the developers.

WhatsApp 2.16.230: How To Install On Your Android Device

You can now install the latest WhatsApp BETA version directly from the Google Play Store. To do this, you will firstly need to become a WhatsApp BETA Tester by opening the Google Play Store webpage. Once the page loads, you will have to tap on the “BECOME A TESTER” button. Finally, open the official Android store, search for WhatsApp 2.16.230 and install it on your Android device.
