Sharing is caring!

Let’s be honest: we’re all concerned with how our phone looks and we’d like the developers of smartphones to find the perfect design for us. Today we’re talking about ‘interior design’, meaning wallpapers, icons and themes. Samsung recently understood people’s liking to find the perfect theme for themselves, so they’re opening up to third party themes. They first let users download and install themes from other companies when they released the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which made a lot of people happy.

But now, Samsung is stepping up their game by dividing theme, icons and wallpaper into three different sections in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 settings menu. So, if you already bought or are going to buy this new phablet released just a few days ago, you’re in for a treat. You can download icon themes separately to your phone’s theme, as well as a different wallpaper – maybe even a live one.

We don’t know about you, but we’re quite excited with Samsung deciding to take this step on their new flagship. We, as all people, have struggled with the way icons look in some themes, even though we liked the overall look, and now we can customize it for our own liking. Isn’t that the best?

We know this isn’t a deciding factor when buying a device this expensive and long-run, but if we’ve peeked your curiosity, you can already pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in a lot of stores and even from your phone carrier – if you’re interested in that kind of offer. This feature is quite fun and lets you customize your device, and the phablet has been raved about in almost all analyses, so you might want to look into the specifications of the Note 7.

If you have another smartphone from Samsung like the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge or even a Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, you might be interested if this customization feature will be released to your phones as well. We’re expecting the tech giant to roll out an update for already-out devices as well, since there has been a variation of this feature on the Galaxy Note 5 with the Grace user interface.
