Back in June, it was revealed by the Bethesda PR and marketing Vice President Pete Hines that The Elder Scrolls 6 was not in development; in a post he made on Twitter he stated that they were not developing the game right now. This statement was backed up by executive producer Todd Howard who stated there was no team dedicated to the game just yet, he also commented that Bethesda is working on several large unannounced projects right now.

While this news hasn’t officially changed, Pete Hines did state on Twitter that he would not give out any information about TES6 until they “formally reveal it”.

Bethesda has in the past commented on their interest in creating mobile games and current rumors suggest that the developer is working on a new The Elder Scrolls game for mobile devices.

It would certainly make sense for Bethesda to create a mobile game; when the mobile Fallout Shelter game was released ahead of the Fallout 4 game release. Both games received many awards and attained a strong critical reception upon their release.

Fans will need to wait for official news from Bethesda about The Elder Scrolls 6 and the possibility of a companion mobile game.
