If you’re curious about the new Stunt Race Creator update Rockstar is bringing to Grand Theft Auto 5 all over consoles, then keep on reading, cause we’re going to give you all the info you need. First of all, the update will be available for PC, as usual, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rockstar kindly offered some patch notes for players to teach them how to create stunts in this new exciting update.
Rockstar says they’ve added what they call an Adversary Mode that will be released to the player when they reach Rank 1. That’s when they can finally play around with the Stunt Race Creator. If you’re interested in what the developers themselves have to say about the new feature, here’s what the guide in this Adversary Mode shares with us: “While the Stunt Race Creator bears many similarities to the Land Race Creator, new creative tools including moving props, audio cues, RP boosts, and speed strips radically change the kinds of races you can make, opening up a new universe of opportunities for creators and players alike.”
Now, let’s break down any info you will need to know about the Stunt Race Creator before you actually play around on it in GTA 5. Firstly, you need to know where to find it. The feature is located in the Creator menu, which lays out a number of options, one of which is called “Stunt Race”. If you don’t already know, you can find the Creator menu when you hit pause on the game.
As for creating the actual stunt race, you will find the creation process to be very similar to the ones they had before: Sea, Air and Land. If you have played before, it should be a breeze. You will first need to find a name for your race, as well as a photo and a description. After you have that basic info about your brand new race, you can set the route, the race type as well as your options of vehicles.
When you’re done with all of that, you can go to the Placement category and mess around with more in-depth info about the race like where the checkpoints will be, dropping the race trigger and props. Even if you’re not a first-time player, you will be very excited about props because Rockstar has added some special props just for this update – even though they had over 500 props. Here’s an example of a new prop: fireworks! Isn’t that cool? You can even add audio props for the special sound effects you have in mind for this special race of yours.
If you go through all of these easy steps Rockstar has prepared for your race, we can assure you that the game will provide the best stunt race you could have possibly thought of. Trust us, we’ve tried it out.
