Huawei has finally unveiled its upcoming Honor 5 and Honor Note 8 handsets and it seems that they come with some awesome specifications at a very decent price. It seems that the two devices will target budget customers, but when it comes to performance, it seems that one of these two devices will be good enough to “fight” against very popular handsets.

Honor 5: Specifications

The Huawei Honor 5 comes with a 5-inch display that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device has a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset that is backed by 2GB of RAM and it is powered by a 2200 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the Honor 5 comes with only 16GB of internal storage, but don’t worry, because you will be able to expand it up to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone comes with a primary camera of 8MP that’s located on the rear side and a secondary camera of only 2MP that can be used to take selfies.

The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, which is somehow outdated, but it’s still a decent operating system. If you love dual-SIM devices, then you will most likely purchase the Honor 5 smartphone.

Honor Note 8: Specifications

The Huawei Honor Note 8 is a phablet with a display of 6.6-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The handset has an octa-core processor Kirin 955 chipset that’s backed by 4GB of RAM and it is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. The device will be released in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, which you will be able to expand up to 256GB using a microSD card. The phablet sports a primary camera of 13MP and a secondary camera of 8MP.

The Honor Note 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Emotion UI 4.1 on top of it.

Prices
