A new WhatsApp update has been released for iOS devices. The new version of the application comes with some interesting new features such as zoom in/out or bigger emoji.
The zoom in/out feature allows you to zoom in and out while using the video recording ability that comes along with the WhatsApp application. In order to use this feature, you will just need to tap on the camera icon and start the video recording function. Once you’ll start recording a video, you will be able to zoom in and zoom out by sliding up and down. It is good to know that while using the zoom in feature, the recording will stop and it will automatically start when the perfect frame is selected.
As we’ve told you above, the new WhatsApp version for iOS also brings bigger emojis and they are functioning just like on Facebook. For example, if you send a single emoji without any text in a private or group chat, the respective emoji will be displayed larger. However, if you send a text or multiple emoji in the same line, all emojis will show up in their normal sizes.
Among these two new features, we’ve also noticed that we can delete multiple private chats at the same time. However, you can’t delete multiple group chats at the same time and instead you will need to select each group at a time. In addition, you can also mark as read, archive multiple chat and delete messages with a few taps.
We also remind you that the WhatsApp version for Android smartphones has been updated and it comes with two new features: Voice Mail and Call Back. These features are found under the call log section and they are expected to be added to the WhatsApp application for iOS sometime in the near future.
