Apple has seen an 8.3 percent drop in its sales because people are anxiously waiting for the release of its MacBook Pro laptop. It’s rumored to go on sale October, one month after the iPhone 7 is released.
Chances are low that the new MacBook Air model will be released in 2016. Some folks think that Apple will cease all production on the series whereas other folks think the company will offer a new one spring 2017.
The speculations about the MacBook Air being discontinued is the result of no recent update (2015 is the last time). There are some folks who are optimistic that Apple will release another MacBook Air.
The company is going to release its MacBook Pro 2016 in the last quarter for 2016, with many think October will be the month for release. According to some publications, the Apple may release the MacBook Air before that time. Still, the features of the MacBook Pro 2016 include:
- A retina display with a 2304×1440 resolution, which will be offered in both 11-inch and 15-inc.
- Users can access their applications through the OLED bar, which is located above the keyboard.
- It comes with the Intel Skylake processor, which improves the battery life.
- It also includes the NFC chip technology.
There are potentially several change designs such as a butterfly keyboard, which is said to be wider, doesn’t have a lot of vertical space used and with more responsive keys. It is said to come with a USB C port, fingerprint scanner and Touch ID.
Should Apple stick to its pricing models, the MacBook 2016 will run as little as $1,000 to as much as $2,500.
