Pokémon Go is a new augmented reality game that has been developed by Niantic. Not many have expected this game to become so popular and this is the reason why the developing company has faced some real server issues because of the big amount of players that were trying to connect to the game’s servers.

Within one week – after the release of Pokémon Go, the game has been downloaded more than all other applications during their first week in the store. This clearly shows that the game is really popular and that the fans have been waiting for it for quite a while.

Unfortunately, Apple didn’t mention how many times this game has been downloaded or the previous record, so we can’t give you a correct number of people who have downloaded this game on their iOS smartphones.

However, according to Sensor Tower data, Candy Crush Jelly Saga and Angry Birds 2 have been downloaded 1.8 million and 2.2 million times in the first week after their release date, while the Pokémon Go has been downloaded 7.2 million times in the first week of its release date.
The Pokémon Go has been released on July 5, 2016 and millions of people have downloaded it since then. As expected, in this game, you will need to catch Pokémon and in order to capture a good amount of them, you will need to go outside to hunt them.

Despite the server issues, the game doesn’t have any big bugs or glitches, but sometimes it seems that the GPS tracking system is not functioning and players are forced to just restart the game in order to fix it.
