LG is preparing to release its Stylus 2 Plus and X Power handsets this month. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them you will want to purchase once they will hit the stores.

Designs

The LG Stylus 2 Plus measures 155×79.6×7.4mm and weights 146 grams. On the other hand, the LG X Power is thicker and lighter, as it measures 148.9×74.9×7.9mm and weights 139 grams. Both devices have plastic bodies with metal frames and a dotted texture on the back. However, the Stylus 2 Plus looks like its predecessor, having physical buttons placed below the rear camera, while the LG X Power has a more minimalist design, featuring a square camera in the upper left corner.



Displays

The LG Stylus 2 Plus has an IPS LCD display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 386 ppi. The LG X Power has a smaller IPS LCD display of 5.3-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 277 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The LG Stylus 2 Plus features a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz or 1.4GHz, an Adreno 505 graphics card and 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The LG X Power comes with a Mediatek MT6735 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz and 2GB of RAM.

Storages

The LG Stylus 2 Plus will be released in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, while the LG X Power will come with an internal storage of 16GB. However, you will be able to expand the storage on both handsets up to 256GB using a microSD card.

Cameras

The LG Stylus 2 Plus sports a primary camera of 13MP or 16MP (two variants of devices) that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP or 8MP (two variants of devices). The LG X Power has a primary camera of 13MP that features LED flash, touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP.

Batteries

The LG Stylus 2 Plus is powered by a removable battery of 3000 mAh which is less powerful than the non-removable battery of 4100 mAh that the LG X Power comes with.
