If rumors prove to be right Microsoft’s highly anticipated Surface Pro 5 will have better specifications than Apple’s MacBook Pro 2016. However, let’s not forget about the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin, which is another device that will come with pretty good specifications.
According to reports, Microsoft is waiting for the release of Intel’s next generation chipset, the Kaby Lake processor, which means that it will take some time for the company to make some official announcements regarding the Surface Pro 5. If the Surface Pro 5 will feature the Kaby Lake processor, then this laptop will most likely dominate the notebook scene in the market (against the Apple’s MacBook Pro 2016).
However, current rumors are suggesting that Microsoft will equip its upcoming Surface Pro 5 with the current-generation Skylake processor and for the time being, this might turn out to be true. It’s not sure yet what graphics card and how much RAM it will have.
The Samsung Notebook 7 Spin will run on an i7 sixth-generation Intel chipset right out of the box (at least the premium or highest variant of it). The laptop will come with an internal storage of 128GB (solid state drive – SSD) and 1TB of HDD. When it comes to the graphics card, the laptop will most likely feature NVIDIA’s GeForce 940MX. If you are a gamer, the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX is not that good for AAA games that have been released recently, but it does have enough power when performing some simple tasks. In other words, the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin will be an awesome laptop for business people. When it comes to the price, the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin will be sold for $1.199.
For now, there is no official news regarding the Apple MacBook Pro 2016, but the Cupertino-based tech giant will most likely come with some information sometime in the near future.
