Today we will compare HTC 10 Lifestyle and Alcatel Idol 4, two smartphones that have been released last month. The former looks identical to the HTC 10 flagship, but it has a weaker processor, while the latter has a premium design and slightly weaker specs than its rival.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle measures 145.9×71.9x9mm and weights 161 grams. As we were saying, on it outside it looks identical to the HTC 10, as it features a full metal body with chamfered edges and it has a protruding circular rear camera in the top middle. The Alcatel Idol 4 is slimmer and lighter as it measures 147×72.5×7.1mm and weights 135 grams. This device has a beautiful glass and metal design and the frame is available in colors such as Gold, Dark Gray, Rose Gold and Metal Silver.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle features a super LCD 5 display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 565 ppi. On the other hand, the Alcatel Idol 4 has a LTPS IPS LCD display with the same size, but it supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 424 ppi.

The Alcatel Idol 4 has a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle has been released with an internal storage of 32GB, while the Alcatel Idol has an internal storage of only 16GB. However, you can expand the storage on both handsets up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle sports a primary camera of 12MP that features OIS, laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, touch focus, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Alcatel Idol 4 comes with a better primary camera of 13MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, touch focus, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection and a secondary camera of 8MP.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh and it is more powerful than the non-removable battery of 2610 mAh that the Alcatel Idol 4 comes with.
