Blizzard has released a patch for its popular World of Warcraft game. This new patch has brought some significant changes to the classes and we’re pretty sure that a good amount of WoW fans will return to this game just to test them out.

We remind you that World of Warcraft had over 12 million subscribers back in 2010, when Cataclysm expansion was launched and that was the highest amount of subscribers this game has ever had. However, since then, there were fewer and fewer gamers who played this game.

Subscriber numbers would have continued to drop even more, but Blizzard has released the Warlords of Draenor expansion, which was brought back in November 2014 and made a good amount of players to return to this game.

However, the expansion didn’t bring too many things to do in “end-game” and this was the reason why some pro-guilds have decided to stop playing this game after finishing all content (raids) in a short period of time. Blizzard has realized that it has only 5.6 million subscribers in June 2015 and in November, there were only 5.5 million subscribers. This is when the developing company has decided to stop reporting the amount of subscribers they have for WoW.

According to reports, a few months ago, there were only about 2 million WoW subscribers, but since the Legion expansion is about to be released at the end of August 2016, players are already coming back to the game. Hopefully, this time, Blizzard will come with more content and a more interesting PvP/PvE system that will keep the gamers focused.

Along with the class changes, there will also be changes to professions, but it will also bring the Demon Hunter. According to Blizzard, the gamers who have pre-purchased WoW Legion will be able to play as Demon Hunters sometime in the third week of August (but no later than August 17, 2016). The Demon Hunter class will be able to be played only by Night Elf (Alliance) or Blood Elf (Horde) races and it will start at level 98. As soon as you will end the story missions, you will hit level 100 and you will be ready for hunting in Legion new zones, once the expansion will be released.

The World of Warcraft: Legion expansion will be released on August 30, 2016.
