The Apple iPhone 6s has been released last fall and soon, it will receive a successor, while the LG G5 has hit the stores in April 2016 and it short time, the South Korean manufacturer came with a mid-range variant of it. Today we will compare the two flagships and you will decide whether to spend your money on an iOS-based or Android-based smartphone.
The iPhone 6s measures 138.3×67.1×7.1mm and weights 143 grams. There’s no difference between it and the previous model in terms of design, as both of them have an aluminum body with lines on the back that hide the radio antennas, only that the new model comes in a new variant of color – Rose Gold. The LG G5 is thicker and heavier as it measures 149.4×73.9×7.7mm and weights 159 grams. It has also a metal body, but with a modular design, allowing you to swap in and out extra component modules and to be more satisfied with the performance of your phone.
The iPhone 6s has a LED-backlit IPS LCD display of 4.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1334×750 pixels at 326 ppi. The LG G5 comes with a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.3-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 554 ppi.

The iPhone 6s features a Apple A9 chipset, a dual-core Twister CPU clocked at 1.84GHz, a PowerVR GT7600 (six-core graphics) graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The LG G5 has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The iPhone 6s has been released in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, but it doesn’t support a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The LG G5 comes in an internal storage of 32GB which you can expand up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The iPhone 6s sports a primary camera of 12MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP. The LG G5 has a dual-primary camera of 16MP and 8MP that features laser autofocus, LED flash, OIS, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 8MP.
The iPhone 6s is powered by a non-removable battery of 1715 mAh, which is less powerful than the 2800 mAh removable battery of the LG G5.
