Lenovo is making a leap forward with the brand new Moto E, the affordable smartphone that is going to hit the market in September this year. The new model will move upwards when it comes to screen size – and upgrade the existing 4.5 inch display to a 5 inch HD screen and a lot of other novelties.
The quad-core processor, 8 megapixel camera and 2,800 mAh battery, as well as the microSD card slot for storage expansion are among the best features of the Moto E3. After enlarging the Moto G this year, Lenovo is on the same way to beef the Moto E up and give us a powerful 5 inch phone named Moto E3.
When it comes to software, the Moto E3 by Lenovo will run Android 6 Marshmallow and will be up against tough competition when it comes to price. Although there will be some tricky prices like the handset costing around $131, Lenovo is on a good way to improving the quality of their phones, especially in the long run.
Do we like this phone?
It’s really hard to say no with an improvement like this. However, the 5 inch screen is definitely something we should forget. Although there are people with smaller pockets and less convenience with a bigger phone, 5 inch phones are simply not running the apps and games as they should – and we all know it.
The Moto E will go on sale in the United Kingdom this September for only $130 along with the Moto G. These two models will come at lower prices – clearing the ground for the Moto G Play and the above mentioned Moto E3, which prices are not known yet.
In the end, we can all agree that this is the largest Moto E yet, which is a good step to improving these phones. However, unless you are a big fan of 5 inch screens, you may want to wait a little longer – or go for the brand new Moto G.
