Many fans are anxiously waiting for The Sims 4 to be adapted for PS4 and Xbox One. It is currently being developed for this change. Rumor has it that this important step is being delayed because the consoles have some issues. Some people have actually given up the thought of enjoying the fourth game on their consoles and are even expecting the Sims 5 to be released and the team to completely abandon the idea of porting it to the consoles.

One solution to this would be a compromise consisting in releasing just a limited edition of the fourth version for consoles. On the other hand, there are some voices claiming that the release of the version 5 totally depends on the Sims 4 sales. Until now, the Sims 4 seems to have recorded pretty good sales and it is still popular in the charts for this specific game genre.

Certainly, working on a fully finished version takes a lot more than making a game compatible with some consoles or others. We also have to take into account the fact that Sims 4 has recently received a new DLC, the Kids Room Stuff, which followed the Backyard Stuff. Also, there has been another announcement for an expansion called The Sims 4 Dine Out Game Pack, which brings new stuff when it come to going to dinner. With this, you will be able to own your own restaurant and customize it when it comes to decorations and food. This is a great opportunity for people who were eager to take care of their own dining business inside the game instead of depending on the same old diners.
