Valve has finally decided to make the Steam sale as transparent and easy to access for most of the people. So, instead of forcing the gamers to purchase a game within 8 hours in flash sales, they instead made a sale or discount for a game for the entire sale season.
This is actually a good thing, as it is summer and we all go outside more often and we spend a good amount of money. In other words, sometimes you may realize that you don’t have enough money and there is a game on sale for the next 8 hours that you want to purchase. Well, this year, things have changed and Valve gave enough time for all the gamers to get the amount of money they need for a game that’s on sale.
Unfortunately, not all gamers were pleased by this change and this is the reason why a good amount of social media websites and forums are now having discussions about the Steam Summer sale 2016 and how bad it was.
According to a good amount of the PC gamers, the Steam Summer Sale 2016 was quite boring, as you only had to put some games in the wish list and see if they are on sale or not. In other words, they didn’t need to check the sale every day, as there were no flash sales or anything as it was last year.
We think that Valve has lost a good amount of money because they didn’t bring the “popular” flash sales, which was forcing gamers to act fast in order to purchase a game. We are pretty sure that the old style of Steam Summer Sale will come in 2017, but until then, Valve needs to get ready for its upcoming Steam Halloween Sale that will begin on October 29, 2016.
Have you purchased any game during the Steam Summer Sale 2016 event?
