Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 tablet two months ago and now it’s allowing US fans to pre-order the Wi-Fi/16 GB variant for $299.99. They can choose between the black and white colorways and they will receive the package within ten days. Plus, the shipment is free.
Two weeks ago, the South Korean country has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 will be released in July in this country and its price will be $310. Americans will be happy to hear that they will get preferential treatment, as the tablet will be 10 dollars cheaper in the US and Samsung will pay shipping for all pre-orders placed on the manufacturer’s website.
Here are the specs of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016:
The tablet measures 254.2 x 8.2 mm, it weights 525 grams and has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD Full HD screen that features Samsung’s proprietary Plane to Lane Switching (PLS) technology which decreases power consumption while making the screen 10 percent brighter. The screen is also clearer, it reflects less, it offers a higher contrast, a faster response time and great viewing angles.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it’s powered by an Exynos chipset that features an octa core Cortex A-53 processors clocked at 1.6GHz, which are backed by 2GB of RAM and Mali-T830 MP2 graphics. If you think the internal memory is insufficient, as its capacity is 16GB, you can add a microSD card and get 256GB.
There is a camera on both sides. The rear one is more advanced and it supports a resolution of 8MP (f/1.9, autofocus and LED flash), while the front camera is 2MP and can be used for making video calls. The 7300 mAh battery is large enough and it should make it through a whole day.
