The iPhone 7 is due for release sometime this autumn but this hasn’t kept people from speculating about what the iPhone 8 will be like so here is some info about how the latter might be like based on the technology used so far.

To begin with, the iPhone 8 might have an all glass body much like Steve Jobs envisioned it, and it may also be a curved one, possibly made from a better material that the current Gorilla Glass that Apple is using. This also means that the camera will be integrated in that glass and it will probably look awesome. Speaking of camera, we can assume that the iPhone 8 will feature a rear 14 MP one and a 4MP front one.

Furthermore, it may be thinner, use less battery and sport a 5.8 inch OLED or AMOLED display as opposed to the LCD display that Apple is currently using for its devices.

The iPhone 8 will also be sticking with the fingerprint scanner, but it may also include iris and facial readers and it could feature a 10 nanometer A11 chip that will be significantly more efficient that the ones found in the models that are being sold today.

Another possibility is that that device will have wireless charging because Apple has already hired engineers to develop this type of tech. The battery may by a 2500 mAh Li-On one which will last for 18 hours on a single charge.

Also, the device may feature 8GB or RAM and storage space of 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB and it will probably be priced between $1300 and $1700, depending on the memory size and country.

Possible Release Date

So far, Apple has released its phone models in September like for example: the iPhone 5 was released on the 21 of September and the iPhone 6 was released on the 19th of September. So it seems very likely that we will be seeing the iPhone 8 in September 2017.
