Apple has finally released the iOS 10 BETA to the public. In other words, if you own an iPhone 5 or newer device, you will be able to download and install this upcoming operating system on your handset. However, before you do this, we remind you that the iOS 10 is currently in BETA, which means that you might find annoying errors and issues.
In order to download the iOS 10 BETA, you will have to head to Apple’s BETA webpage and sign up for the BETA testing program. Keep in mind that you will be able to remove yourself from the BETA community if you are not satisfied with the program. Once you become an Apple BETA member, you will be able to enroll your iOS or Mac device to download the latest public BETA releases. It is good to know that the program comes with a built-in feedback assistant that will allow you to send your opinions and suggestions directly to the developing team.
The iOS 10 BETA comes with a new lock screen, which will allow you to unlock your device with a single press on the home button. In addition, you can reach the home screen of your device using another tap on the home button. If your device is locked, you can also open the camera app by just sliding to the left (from any position).
The new iOS 10 BETA also allows you to do more stuff using the 3D Touch, especially when you will use it on stock iOS applications. In other words, you will notice that the 3D Touch is more useful than before.
The developers have also integrated larger emojis that you will be able to use while sending a message to a friend of yours. To make things even better, you will be able to send a “hidden” message, which can be seen only after the receiver “scratch” it.
The iOS 10 BETA can be installed on iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPad 4th generation and later, iPad Mini 2 and later, and iPod Touch 6h generation.
