The LG X Skin is expected to be released this month, while the Motorola Moto Z will hit the stores in September. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide if you want to either purchase the LG X Skin once it will be released this month or wait until this fall for the Motorola Moto Z.
The LG X Skin measures 144.8×71.4×6.9mm and weights 122 grams. Its body is made of plastic and it’s available in two variants of colors: Gold and Titanium. On the other hand, the Motorola Moto Z is slimmer and heavier as it measures 153.3×75.3×5.2mm and weights 136 grams. It has a more premium look, being made of “aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel” and it has a large and protruding circular rear camera in the central top.
The LG X Skin has an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels a t 294 ppi. The Motorola Moto Z has a bigger AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 535 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG X Skin has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1.5GB of RAM. Unfortunately, it’s not sure with what chipset and graphics card will come with. The Motorola Moto Z features a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The LG X Skin comes with an internal storage of 16GB while the Motorola Moto Z is expected to be released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB. Both devices feature a microSD card slot that supports memory cards up to 256GB for storage expansion.
The LG X Skin sports a primary camera of 8MP that features geo-tagging, LED flash, touch focus, HDR, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Motorola Moto Z has a primary camera of 13MP that features laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, OIS, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The LG X Skin is powered by a removable battery of 2100 mAh which is less powerful than the 2600 mAh non-removable battery that the Motorola Moto Z will come with.
