WhatsApp is the application of the moment and if you have doubts about it, you will need to ask the 1 billion monthly active people why they are using it.
With WhatsApp application, you will be able to keep in touch with your friends and family for FREE. You will be able to send messages, emoticons, photos and more, but the catch is that the application is using the internet connection in order to send and receive data. In other words, you will have to be either connected to a Wi-Fi network or to use mobile data to log into your account.
Today we will talk about a new WhatsApp version that has been released for Windows Phone devices. WhatsApp 2.6.144 is the latest version of this application for Windows Phone smartphones and it comes with some new UX tweaks and performance improvements.
It is good to know that these two things have been tested in the past few weeks in the BETA application, which means that the developers have finally decided that they don’t have any bugs and they are ready to be released for the public.
You will notice that this new update is making the image gallery to be faster than before. When you will now go to the Gallery for image selection, instead of showing you all images, it will only show the images that are inside a folder.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have any news regarding the Video Calling feature which some rumors say that it will be released sometime in the near future. The developers of WhatsApp didn’t say a word about this feature yet, so there are high chances that all those rumors were just hoaxes.
