LG has released its K5 device in June 2016 and the X5 model is expected to arrive this month. Let’s see if these smartphones have anything in common and which one winks at you. Below, you will find a detailed comparison between them.
The LG K5 measures 145×71.6×8.9mm and weights 128 grams. The device has a curved back with a metal finish and a very simple design and it’s available in three variants of colors: Gold, Silver and Titan. The LG X5, on the other hand, has a plastic body with an angular shape and two variants of colors: White and Indigo Black. Also, it’s slimmer and heavier, as it measures 151.6×76.9×7.2mm and weights 133 grams.
The LG K5 has an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 854×480 pixels at 196 ppi. The LG X5 comes with an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a higher resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 294 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG K5 features a Mediatek MT6582 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, a Mali-400MP2 graphics card and 1GB of RAM. It’s not sure yet what chipset and graphics card the LG X5 will come with, but it is rumored that it will have a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 2GB of RAM.
The LG K5 has been released with an internal storage of 8GB which you can expand up to 32GB using a microSD card. On the other hand, the LG X5 will be released with an internal storage of 16GB, but you will be able double its capacity.
The LG K5 sports a primary camera of 5MP that features LED flash, autofocus, touch focus, face detection, geo-tagging and a secondary camera of 2MP. The LG X5 comes with a primary camera of 13MP that features autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection, touch focus, geo-tagging and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The LG K5 is powered by a removable battery of 1900 mAh which is less powerful than the removal battery of 2800 mAh that the LG X5 features.
