Pokemon Go Plus, which is the accessory for the AR game that works on Bluetooth, can be preordered now for $34.99 from GameStop or Amazon. All the field testers received an email from Nintendo letting them know that the beta trial for Go will be stopped at the end of June.
Finally, you can pre-order the Go Plus, if you’re one of the fans that have been waiting this for so long. In case you didn’t know, this is a Bluetooth addition for the long-awaited game Pokemon Go, which is an augmented-reality one.
It is in fact a simple wrist device that lets you know whenever a Pokemon is nearby without you having to check your smartphone all the time. Also, it is of much help when capturing Pokemons, since you can do this automatically simply by pressing a button instead of taking out the phone and doing it manually. If you want it, make sure you pre-order it, since it might be out of stock soon after being released.
In order to be able to use the device, your smartphone should have a Bluetooth 4.0, should run Android 4.3 at least and to support GPS technology. However, it is possible that the device will not work on all Android phones or tablets. If you’re using an iPhone, you may only be able to use it if you have a device using iOS 8.
On the 31th of July the Pokemon GO Plus will be shipped to those who preordered it. You can download the Pokemon Go game for free on Android and iOS, except for some in-app acquisitions such as the PokeCoins, with which you can buy virtual currency inside the game. With it you can buy lots of enhancements, extra items and power-ups.
